My Directory has served many customers from many different industries. All are using Open Source as the primary foundation for business.
We believe a heterogeneous system work better than homogeneous one because we are able to utilize the best of all. Our team is multi-talented. We can handle Mac, Windows and Linux systems.

Web System: The web booking system was experiencing performance issue. Whenever there was ticket promotion, the web booking system would fail or crash due to high access.
Solution: After studying the environment, checking the web application, we introduced load balancer and clustering solution to increase the capacity to handle more loads. We have increased 10 folds from the original capacity. Also, we integrated with Akamai EdgeSuite to improve global access to the web booking system. Now everything is running smoothly and efficiently.
Email System: AirAsia has partners in Indonesia and Thailand. With staffs working in different countries, Email is used as one of the primary communicate tool among colleagues and customers. They require a very simple email messaging, yet it must be reliable, fast, and able to take up high load.
Solution: We introduced Open Source email server that consists of Inbound, Mail Store and Outbound components. The task of Inbound is to perform incoming email filtering and routing to the respective country. In each country, there is Mail Store for local users. This speed up the email access for the local users. And finally a general purpose of Outbound server is used to delivery outgoing email with disclaimer at the footer. We have developed a web based management software for the email administrator to easily manage accounts, quotas, forwarding and vacation messages.

Today, the school is using Open Source as the primary backend system while maintaining Windows as the desktop. There are many solutions had been developed since 1996 just the school. The school has achieved nationwide recognition as one of the most successful Smart School implementation in the country. It is also mentioned in CNET and published in Reader's Digest magazine.
Open Source Infrastructure: We define Open Source Infrastructure with three major categories: Networking, Operating System and Application. We also partner with Application vendor to deliver a complete School Management System for the school.
Solutions For Schools: Since 1996, we have developed a complete infrastructure solution for school using Red Hat Linu (now Red Hat Enterprise Linux). The solution is 100% based on Open Source Software. We name it Cirrox. Some of the major features of Cirrox are:
The school has two full racks of servers, multi-terabytes of storage system, hundreds of PC and Wi-Fi connectivity. There are computer labs for research and workshop purposes. With the complete facilities available, the students can repair the PC themselves and make their own network cables.
Students from SMJK Dindings shall be different than other schools because of such exposure to advanced technology. We have created an environment of study for them, similar to what is available in University. The students have the complete freedom to access all computing facilities at ANY time. The school is nearly like their home.

Open Source Infrastructure: We designed the Campus Area Network using fiber for longer distance and normal cat5e in classrooms. The backbone is on 2 Gigabits network. The servers are connected on Gigabit network while the PC are all on 100 Mbps speed. The school is also equipped with Wi-Fi so that students could access to the Internet anywhere in the campus.
We have Linux as the primary network operating system. There is Domain based logon, email, LDAP and so on. All systems are managed under Cirrox software that we developed.
The systems have been planned with redundancy support. Thus, any failure to the system will only degrade the performance, not disruption of services.
